September 3rd, 2008 at 16:39:48 Yes! I'm an idiot!...thanks for pointing that out!....(oh by the way...what does "fucking learn yourself" mean? English is quite a tough language but I'm sure that if you try harder you'll be able to get to grips with it).
September 3rd, 2008 at 17:02:47 dude you should fucking learn yourself. it's not supposed to come that easy. it's music- it's art. It's also NOT for everybody. Go back to work if you can't figure it out yourself. Or... go buy a real keyboard (Roland Fantom-G8) and make some real music
September 3rd, 2008 at 17:25:46 Falling Asleep...Yaaaaawn
September 3rd, 2008 at 17:48:45 you don't need a midi keyboard

September 3rd, 2008 at 19:20:41 Thanks for being so patronising.I'm well aware that "nothing comes for free".My "whine" was a review. It still stands. Ableton may be fantastic but the accompanying tutorial is hopeless.
September 3rd, 2008 at 19:43:40 I RiFUSE TO LEARN SPELLz! Ure a n00b with ableton, thats why ure having trouble. After a little more usage u'll quickly realize its incredibleness, and eaze of use! :D But u need to invest time in it, nothing comes for free...
September 3rd, 2008 at 20:06:39 Learn to spell.
September 3rd, 2008 at 20:29:38 Ure a n00b. stop whining.
September 3rd, 2008 at 20:52:37 I'm sure it is amazing...my point is that it's bloody hard work trying to uncover the amazing things. For instance...got back from work today and persevered with trying to simply record a drum track. I could hear the drums but no midi track was being recorded. Finally I switched on the OVR button and it's recording..great!..although it didn't say that in the tutorial. Now I find that if I delete the drums to try and do it better the sound dissappears
September 3rd, 2008 at 21:15:36 I would say get the 14 day trial of ableton live 7. the drum rack is simply amazing
September 3rd, 2008 at 21:38:35 I bought a Line6 toneport for guitar recordig which came with a lite version of Ableton .well, all I can say is that Ableton is complete bloody torture...I've spent 3 days trying to record a simple drum track using the accompanying tutor...and have failed. Quite frankly , if I had a shotun I'd blast the sodding thing to kingdom come...
September 3rd, 2008 at 22:01:34 i got it its just a amazing program

September 4th, 2008 at 23:33:30 No you don't. You can enter midi notes with your mouse or by using your computer keyboard as a midi keyboard, with no external software :)
September 4th, 2008 at 23:56:29 gea but theres other intruments you can use on the software
